Nutrena Horse of the Year Presented by AQHA

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – While most awards in rodeo are reserved for the human athlete, there is one that is solely based on the equine athlete’s accomplishments and what makes it even more special is that it is voted on by the top 25 WPRA members in each discipline. That award is the Nutrena Horse of the Year Award presented by AQHA.

Spotlight on Rules

Breakaway ropes are to be tied at the end of rope with fully intact #18 brightly colored twisted/braided mason line string secured with minimum of 3 knots to saddle. Bright solid color (suggested colors include neon yellow, neon pink, neon orange, neon green, and clean bright white) cloth with min. dimensions (12”x12”) must be attached to end of rope. Refer to full Rule 12.10.9.
